Bathroom cleaning is an essential job to be carried out on a daily basis, so as to maintain cleanliness and proper hygiene. When bathroom cleaning becomes a daunting task, put those scrubs and hair brushes away and buy some good disinfectant bathroom cleaners. These are the best solutions to effectively clean the surfaces and get rid of the bacteria breeding on them.

Bathroom Cleaners with Effective Disinfectant Properties

Today, a wide variety of commercial disinfectant bathroom cleaners are available in the market in order to make the cleaning process more effective. Disinfecting bathroom cleaners are primarily designed for removing tough soap scum and hard water stains from the surfaces. The strong surfactants and solvents in these products help in effective cleaning, even without scrubbing or scouring. There are cleaners available specially designed for killing a wide spectrum of pathogens including staphylococcus, pseudomonas, salmonella and even odor causing bacteria such as E.coli and proteus mirabilis.

Certain cleaners are designed with single step cleaning, disinfecting and deodorizing properties. There are also products available without any harsh chemicals and non-toxic degreasers. People looking for organic products can find a number of biodegradable bathroom-cleaners in the present commercial market.

Good Retailers for Quality Products

When you feel bathroom cleaning process has become your most challenging task, buy disinfecting bathroom-cleaners and make the job simpler and easier. Retailers and dealers can provide you with the right products that cater to your requirements. Make an online search and find good dealers in the industry for quality products. Simple Green, Colgate Palmolive, Clorox and Procter and Gamble are some of the brands that enjoy great demand at present.

Once again I wandered around the net and discovered more items that should be enclosed in our preparedness kit for a rapid and quick get away should we need to leave an area quickly. On our web site you can readily find list after list after list. I think the key to using these lists is to continually compare them and add those items which you deem would be beneficial for you and your family. No one person can complete a list that would serve the purposes for everyone. The final selection of items rests in your hands.

At Delmarva Survival Training we have thousands upon thousands of pages of material on survival. In fact we have so much that we can not post it all on the site. I have found that saving all this material is the easy part but now comes the more difficult assignment of categorizing it. I attempted this task last year but never completed it. Perhaps as a New Years resolution I will attempt it again this coming year.

As I stated above here is the additional preparedness listing. Keep in mind that this list reflects those items to be taken with you not to be kept in the home. That would be an entirely different list.

PLANNED EXIT SCENARIO

The key to successfully departing an area is to keep your vehicles gassed up and ready to leave at a moments notice. You should make all the necessary contingency plan that would get you away from the center of disturbances as quickly as possible. All your necessary camping gear should be checked before time and properly packed. You will more then likely need a small utility trailer to tote much of your supplies in. In this trailer you should have several large gas cans or if you have another person going along with you have the second vehicle pull a gas trailer which could contain 150 and up to 300 gallons of fuel. It goes without saying that you should have your bags already packed and ready for departure. Have several large totes packed and sitting in a coat closet waiting to be loaded. Have your primary and secondary routes completely planned. Include the following items in your plans.

Shaving pubic hair can basically be done using either of two methods. The first method is one using an old fashioned razor and shaving cream while the second, is using battery charged razors meant for pubic hair removal.

It is rather scary and dangerous to shave pubic area using a razor if you are not careful. It usually leaves red bumps that can irritate the pubic skin. However with pubic hair shavers, there is no chance of hurting yourself and no red bumps or irritation. This is because these shavers have a micro screen head and rotary blades that leave your pubic area smooth. Pubic hair shavers can be used both by men and women. And if you want to create pubic hair designs, you can do so with the help of pubic hair stencils.

To trim your pubic hair, you first have to trim the hair and then take a bath to soften the hair. Then use shaving cream and shave in the direction of hair growth. Once this is over, exfoliate with a loofah and apply some anti-ingrown hair cream to prevent bacterial infections that may arise with ingrown hair.

Shaving pubic hair is rather cheap, easy and fast and most of all can be done in the privacy of your home. However you run the risks of cuts, ingrown hairs and razor burn. Moreover, hair tends to grow back quickly while some people experience itching and discomfort when the hair regrows. There are also some people who may be allergic to shaving creams; such people should use hypoallergenic products instead.

Loose cotton underwear are suggested after shaving while tight fitting pants are a no-no as lack of circulation in tight clothes may lead to in-grown hairs. So if you are shaving your pubic hair for the first time, this guide for shaving pubic hair should be rather informational to you.

Are you having a hair loss problem and searching for a solution to stop this condition? Does using an anti-hair fall shampoo help to prevent falling hair and prevent you from going bald?

Most people might have the perception that the more lather the shampoo has, the better it cleans your scalp. This perception unfortunately is not true! The surfactant that produces the lather does not have any cleansing properties. It may actually worsen the condition for someone who is already experiencing the balding syndrome.  If you find your hair thinning, you should stop using shampoos that have lots of lather. It does not help and might even aggravate your condition.

Anti-hair fall shampoos are perhaps the cheapest option. It is also within the budget for most people in the market. It might be considered as one of the safest since it is used externally. Having said this, careful selection of the right shampoo may help to recover the condition. If your condition is mild, using an anti-hair loss shampoo may help reduce the numbers of follicles falling and stop the condition. However if your condition is a severe one, you may want to seek alternative treatments.

Herbal shampoos make use of natural herbs and ingredients and typically can be considered safe. One of the ingredients commonly used is Saw Palmetto or Nettle. These are ingredients that help to stop the condition and also to promote growth. Nettle for example, is a hair tonic used by natives many centuries back. Saw Palmetto, on the other hand, has properties against conversion of the male hormones to DHT which retard the normal growth.

A Roth IRA allows investors to save for the future without having to pay taxes on those gains or the income earned with the plan. This type of plan makes a great deal of sense for many investors, particularly those who fear that tax rates may not be so kind to them in the future when they plan on drawing on the investments. This leaves a couple of obvious questions that investors need to answer, least of which involves taxation.

The first question involves whether they want to simply earn a smaller amount of interest income. While this is tax free, this income would be small and not very helpful in achieving larger leaps in terms of plan value. The second question would involve achieving potentially higher levels of growth but at potentially considerably higher levels of risk. Sounds like a great plan, but the problem is that most people do not want to lose their IRA savings to crazy market gyrations like those seen during the 2008 year.

This is where mutual funds can help. Investors who want a steadier approach to growth in their investment portfolios will suffer less when they invest in mutual funds simply because these types of investments offer a great deal of diversification. What this means is that mutual funds typically do not invest in a single security like, say Microsoft. They will hold a wider range of securities so that if Microsoft has a really quarter and their stock price plummets, the other securities held within the fund should hopefully keep the fund in the black and continuing to grow (sometimes at the cost of a company like Microsoft in this illustration).

Of course, this is just an illustration and in many case when companies, whether it is Microsoft or any other big company, reports bad news that sees their stock plummet, many of the other securities in the portfolio also suffer because bad news is rarely isolated to a single security.

So how to mutual funds help in cases where the news is widespread across the whole market? In many cases, mutual funds cannot defy gravity — when the pull is down, even well-diversified mutual funds will suffer. The benefit to a mutual fund lies, however, in its ability to pick the right type of securities to hold. So while the broader market might suffer due to poor economic figures, some of the securities within the mutual will keep it afloat because those securities are where people want to invest when the economy slows down; stocks like Proctor and Gamble, Colgate Palmolive, Utility companies that are all considered “defensive” securities because they will always be in be business because their products are staples to our personal lives.

In response to why mutual funds that offer growth are important to your IRA, consider the difference between, say, 2% interest per year and the growth that many of these funds, while volatile during periods of economic uncertainty, can offer. Clearly, the secret to achieving your financial goals comes down to growth, not the 2%.

You may want to select a Pet Bath Tub that raises off the ground so you do not have to bend over. The tub should have a drain and drain hose as well as a caddy to put accessories and shampoos.

An ideal Pet Grooming Tub. would be lightweight and portable and offer accessories like a ramp to lift pet in and a shower head to make a bath warm.

1. After setting up your dog bath tub, encourage your dog to enter and exit a few times before bathing. You may want to have treats on hand and always remember to praise him or her for good behavior.

2. If your dog has tangled hair, makes sure you comb it out first as washing will only make mats worse.

3. Placing cotton balls into your dogs ear will help protect them from water entering and getting trapped in the ear canal.

4. Test the water and adjust the water temperature before wetting your pet thoroughly.

5. When first applying water, start by spraying low volume on their paws. This allows them to feel that warm water is coming. And of course we recommend not using cold water.

6. Once your dog is completely saturated with water, apply dog shampoo in small amounts.

7. Begin lathering dog shampoo at the back of the neck and work toward the tail. Make sure you lather the dogs belly, legs, tail, between its toes, behind its ears, and under its chin.

8. It is always a good idea to save washing your dogs head for last, as this will reduce shaking.

9. When it is time to rinse out the shampoo, rinse it out thoroughly. Residual shampoo left on your pet can potentially cause skin irritation. To check for soap residue you can look for bubbles as you squeeze your dogs hair. Keep rinsing until the water runs clean.

10. Never spray water into your pets ears, this can potentially cause ear infections. To avoid this when rinsing, cup your hand over the ear or simply pinch ears shut with your hand.

11. Adding a small amount of vinegar or lemon juice as you rinse your pet. It is a good way to help wash away strong orders. You can also use baking soda which will leave your pets coat shiner and softer.

12. Always dry your pet thoroughly in the pet bath tub. In most cases medium to large dogs will require two towels.

13. Never leave your pet unattended in the pet bath tub.

Remember, a clean pet is a happier healthier pet! Following these tips should provide a easier and happier bath time for your and your cat or dog.

Many of you have heard the old stock market saying “sell in May and go away”. In this report I will delve further into this seasonal pattern and look at ways that you can profit from seasonality studies. We will use the US S&P 500 as our benchmark index not the UK FTSE100 which has not followed seasonality as well.

Before I go any further I have to warn that past performance is no guarantee to future results, however, with a long established track record this system is worth considering. Also, my aim here is to look at the facts and how to profit, rather than speculating why markets tend to be weaker over the summer months.

In brief the S+P500 historically has been stronger between November to April than the May to October period. By staying out of the stock market and going in to cash in on the weaker period a better return can be achieved than a simple buy and hold 12 month strategy. Also your risk can be reduced, remember, each month you are invested in the market you are taking risk, by being out of the market for 6 months of the year you have just reduced your risk by 50%

A study of price action for the S&P 500 Index from April 30, 1945, through April 21, 2006, shows interesting results. The S&P 500 advanced an average of 7.1% during the November to April period over that span (without dividends reinvested), it posted an average gain of only 1.5% from May through October. What’s more, the November through April period outperformed May through October 68% of the time.

History shows that the S&P 500’s worst month is September, and that the worst three-month period is the third quarter. October is historically a month in which the market establishes a bottom, so the S&P 500 enters November at a fairly low level compared to other months. This gives the November through April period the advantage of starting at a lower base. January also tends to be a strong month with New Year optimism and pension funds tend to invest new money, April also sees many individuals add to their retirement pension plans.

An interesting study was done by the the Stock Trader’s Almanac which demonstrated the power of seasonality. They tracked what would happen to a $10,000 investment in the stocks that make up the Dow Jones Industrial Average.

Money invested in the Dow stocks (you could use the DIA Exchange Traded Fund or a Wall Street spread bet to get the same effect) in the “best six months” and then switched to fixed income in the “worst six months” over 56 years grew to $544,323. But money invested in the Dow in the “worst six” and then switched to fixed income in the “best six” compounded to a loss of $272.

The chart below shows seasonality on the S&P500 and as you can see the gains come at the start and end of the year, being out of the market from May to 1st November.

How to trade seasonality’s

A simple way would be a Financial Spread Bet. You could buy an up bet on the SPY which is the S&P500 tracking stock from the 1st November to 30th April and switch to cash for the weaker months. Your stop would be around 30% below the index, so if the S&P 500 was trading at 1300 the SPY would be at 130.00 your stop would be 30% below at 91.00. With a 30% stop you would not be worried about shorter term swings.

Another way would be to use fixed odds bets with http://www.betonmarkets.net You could use Bull bets to bet the S&P to go up from 1st November to 30th April and then use Bear bets to back the S&P to be no more than 3% higher on the 1st November than it was on the 30th April. So if the market is down you would win, if it goes sideways or up less than 3% you would win. You could change the 3% margin but this would reduce your returns, but it would make the bet safer.

What holds up over the summer?

So far we have looked at the whole S&P 500. If we look at the S&P sector indices since 1990 which is as far back as I could find reliable data, we see that defensive sectors hold up better during the May to October period and in fact show a gain.

One of the best sectors has been Consumer Staples, big boring, cash rich companies such as Proctor& Gamble, Altria, Pepsico, Colgate Palmolive and Cocoa Cola

So rather than go to cash during the weaker months you could park your money in the Select SPDR Consumer Staples ETF (XLP). The average return on this has been over 4.8%, so adding this to your 7.1% (the return from the positive months) you’re on 11.9% return betting the S+P 500. Over 15 years this has given a return of 8.8% per annum (without dividends reinvested).

Conclusion

As a trader or investor it’s worth taking time to study seasonal patterns especially those with long track records. The above outlined strategy at its most basic would allow you to capture the majority of the year’s stock market gains and still make a return on your investment from interest the months you are out of the market. A slightly higher risk strategy would be to rotate to a defensive sector in the weaker months which can be done cost effectively with an Exchange Traded Fund.

“Hand hygiene saves lives” is a slogan used in a campaign by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to encourage proper hand hygiene in the healthcare setting.  However, exercising proper hand hygiene in a home, school, or work environment can save lives as well.  Less dramatically it can also save inconvenience by helping to avoid catching a cold or flu.

Step 1:  Use clean running water to wet both hands.  Try to use warm water if possible.

Step 2:  Apply a liberal amount of soap to your hands.

Step 3:  Rub your hands together to form a nice lather.

Step 4:  Scrub all surfaces of the hands with the soap lather.

Step 5:  Continue rubbing your hands together for 20 seconds … yes TWENTY seconds!  Encourage small children to sing the alphabet and it will be about 20 seconds.

Step 6:  Rinse hands well under warm running water.  Make sure to remove all soap residue.

Step 7:  Dry your hands using a paper towel or air dryer. If possible, use your paper towel to turn off the faucet and open the bathroom door.

Keeping your hands clean is the best way to prevent catching illnesses. Hands should be disinfected before meals, after using the restroom, changing a diaper, touching animals, dressing a wound, changing your contacts, and/or whenever they look dirty. If somebody in your household is sick, everyone should wash their hands more often.

If soap and water are unavailable, hand sanitizing gels, sprays, and wipes are just as effective if they contain a sufficient amount of alcohol.  A hand sanitizer containing less than 60% alcohol is completely ineffective.  When using a hand sanitizer gel make sure to rub your hands together until they are completely dry, usually about 15 seconds.

Many men are uncomfortable with the amount of chest hair that they have. They understand that it is a great thing and a sign of manliness to have chest hair – but they would rather a lesser amount so that they don’t feel like they have their own climate. Most men use three methods to groom this abundance of hair.

The first method is waxing. This method is not very popular because it hurts really bad. It doesn’t matter if you are a woman or man this method will always be painful. When men choose waxing they will find that the hair removed will not return for up to six weeks. A session of waxing at the salon can cost anywhere from $30 to $60. However men can always purchase the at home waxing kits and do it themselves. Or they can find a faithful friend or companion to do it for them.

When doing it yourself please remember not to wax over warts or moles. Also make sure that the wax is not too hot to be placed on your skin.

The next method is laser hair removal. This method is very effective – but it is also expensive. This method is safe and many men are willing to pay the cost to have long term hair removal. The process can cost anywhere from $800 to $1,500 each time it is done. Sometimes for a treatment to work effectively you must have two or more sessions.

There is a downside to this method besides the price. Some men experience temporary color change – which can take three to six months to disappear.

Shaving is the easiest and most cost effective method. It is very direct and is easy for any man to do on his own. All he needs is some shaving cream and a razor with some hot water. The only problem that most men have with this is that they will have to shave more often. If men don’t want any hair at all they may have to shave twice a week if not more.

In today’s society, anti aging skin care products are no longer only for women. Recent studies show that more and more men are just as concerned about signs of aging and their appearance as women are. Both females and males want to maintain youth and look young for as long as possible. There are anti aging skin care products made specifically for men but it is important for them to find reliable advice and understand their options before starting an anti aging skin care program.

Men’s skin is usually oilier and thicker than women’s skin with larger pores and more prominent, deeper wrinkles, which are a few reasons why men require different anti aging skin care products. Although some men look distinguished with deep-set lines, most men feel it is an obvious aging sign and look for ways to help prevent this. Men should not use women’s anti aging skin care products because they often contain more oil then the products men require, which will irritate and clog their pores. Many of the top leading skin care and beauty companies have joined the cause and are now making anti aging skin care creams, gels, lotions, and other products for men instead of just for women. Men, like women, should start learning at a young age how to take care of their skin properly, to keep it looking its best. There are many excellent quality men’s anti aging skin care products on the market, such as moisturizers, toners, and cleansers, made for all skin types. Because men’s faces are fifteen percent oilier than a woman’s is, along with daily cleaning, men should exfoliate their faces regularly as part of their anti aging skin care regime. Exfoliating gives the skin a healthier looking tone and removes dead skin cells.

When shaving, use a shaving gel or cream that provides extra nutrients along with other anti aging skin care products for shaving, such as toner and after-shave. Using a toner after shaving helps remove shaving residue, cleans the pores, restores the skins PH balance, and fights bacteria. There are toner-astringents available for men with oily skin and hydrating toners for men with dry or normal skin. Lotion or cream aftershave helps restore moisture, combat razor burn, and closes the pores. A little aftershave applied to the neck and face right after shaving and toning provides excellent anti aging skin care for men. Moisturizer is very important and should be applied in the morning and evening, with an oil based moisturizer for dry skin and water based for oily skin. Men look younger longer just by following an anti aging skin care routine.
